Many people attach different meanings to the feeling of anger.
The majority of those meanings sound like: “I am a bad person!”, “I am an impatient partner,” “I am failing as a parent.”
On the contrary, anger is your traffic light. It carries primal and very important information.
Feeling angry does not say anything about you as a person. Anger is an important signal. We learn to honor it.
Anger is always protecting a gift.
We find that gift and define it.
At this stage, I teach you some embodiment tools that help you manage your anger as it appears.
After we’ve identified our gift, which often comes in the form of a need, we learn to listen to ourselves. This skill is often suppressed by our conditioning.
You’ve learned to hear your needs; now we’ll help you build strategies to have those needs met and involve our family, friends, and colleagues in helping us have our needs met. You’ll be surprised how many of them are happy to participate.
During this step, we design touchpoints, “dates with your needs,” so to speak, to make sure you’re being nourished on all levels.
Anger always brings an amazing opportunity: to unlock a more fulfilling life.
I’ll be happy to help you harness this gift.
